Hoang Van can write romances in all circumstances. "Tâm tình người thủy thủ, Seaman Romance", "Nhớ, Nostalgia for a distant love" (on a poem by Nguyen Dinh Thi) were the first romances of this "red" music stream with Hoàng Việt’s "Romance", an author who died very early in the war. This album brings together these romances written during the five decades by the composer.
